UNI-DET (Unison & Detune) Board for YAMAHA CS-80/CS-60/CS-50

Features: New design for the SH board for Yamaha CS-50/CS-60/CS-80 synthesizers. It replaces the original SH board and adds two new functions to the synthesizer:
– A Dynamic Unison mode. Pressing 1 key triggers all 8 voices, 2 keys trigger 2 x 4 voices, etc. Beyond 4 voices, note assignment reverts to “normal”.
– A Detune mode that allows for a slight detuning of the 8 voices (between 1 and 5%) which produces a rich and full sound.
The UNI-DET board mounts in place of the original SH board. It is compatible with the MIDI interface for CS-60 V1.3 and future interfaces for CS-50 and CS-80. Due to its design (16-bit 8-output DAC), it will eventually allow for the addition of an Autotune function to the CS series, as well as programmable microtonal scales.

PRG (Programmer) Board for YAMAHA CS-60/CS-50

Features: Original board for Yamaha CS-60 / CS-50. It adds the ability to edit the parameters of each synthesizer preset on the fly and save the result in one of 28 memory slots (2 banks of 14 patch memories). The front panel's Preset button block is retained to preserve the synthesizer's original appearance, but all mechanical parts (switches) are replaced by a new electromechanical block, combining LEDs and tactile switches, manufactured using 3D printing.
The PRG board, with dimensions identical to other CS boards, mounts into the CS-60 / CS-50 rack, similar to MIDI interface boards, with which it is compatible.
The board then recognizes MIDI Program Changes as well as synthesizer parameter control via System Exclusive messages, and in a second development phase, patch memory saving, also via Sysex.
